Self-Care…..

We ALL have tough moments; sometimes we have tough days, weeks, months or even years. But during those times, it is even more important to practice self-care (taking care of yourself physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially) as well as improving your outlook and self-compassion (treating yourself the way you would treat a friend). When we’re struggling, it’s hard to remember that things will eventually get better. But they always do!! Remind yourself that EVERYTHING heals in time, your heart heals, your mind heals, wounds heal, your happiness is going to come back, bad times don’t last! So, in the meantime, look after yourself as best you can, take plenty of sleep when you can, unplug devices and re-charge yourself!, watch something funny, cry, scream, eat chocolate…. do whatever it takes to ‘get through’ (remembering never to be afraid to speak to someone) reminding yourself that you are not alone! all storms pass and and of how unique and great you really are! X
